I aim to support the journey of all students who come to me with the practices of yoga and mindfulness. These terms and conditions are here to give you clear, honest and fair information when making a purchase or booking.

Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions may be updated after time of booking. In this case, the updates will apply to all bookings.

Your Responsibility

  • It is your responsibility to inform me of any relevant medical conditions, injuries or trauma, pregnancy or breastfeeding at the start of every appointment, any information you give me about your wellbeing is confidential unless I consider you or another to be at risk.

  • You hold the responsibility to look after your own physical, emotional and mental wellbeing. If you are unsure of any part of the practice, do not attempt it.

  • You may wish to seek advice from your doctor or healthcare professional before practicing yoga.

Pregnancy, Postnatal & Baby Yoga with Massage

  • You have declared all information regarding your health and the health of the baby that might affect your successful participation in Lissa Milton Yoga & Mindfulness Pregnancy Yoga Classes and Postnatal Yoga with Baby Yoga & Massage classes.

  • You take full responsibility for your body and baby.

  • If you have any worries, you will seek the advice of your medical professional, before proceeding with Lissa Milton Yoga & Mindfulness Pregnancy Yoga or Postnatal Yoga with Baby Yoga & Massage classes.

  • You will promptly inform Lissa Milton Yoga & Mindfulness of any health issues that arise during the course of your pregnancy.

  • Courses are booked and paid for in advance of the course start date, no refunds will be given if any of the dates cannot be attended.

Booking

Cancellation & Rescheduling 

You can reschedule your class up to 3 hours before the start time by using the link in your booking confirmation email or via your account.

If you paid and booked one class 

you can reschedule up to 3 hours before the start time of the class. You will not get your credit back if you cancel, so I’d recommend rescheduling your class instead using the link in your confirmation email.

If you booked using a class pack or membership

your class credit will go back onto your pass for you to use another time if you cancel. You can also reschedule using the link in your confirmation email.

I reserve the right to cancel a session at any time. This would usually only be due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, and if you had prepaid, you would receive a full refund, the chance to reschedule if you booked one class, or your class pass will be returned if you booked with a class pass.

Class Passes

  • Class Passes are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase  

  • I can’t offer extensions on passes

  • I can’t offer refunds for unused classes

  • Class packs cannot be shared

  • Credit cannot be transferred between online and in person classes.

  • Yoga Workshops are not included in class passes.

Memberships

  • There is 2 weeks notice needed to cancel your membership 

  • Please email me to cancel your membership

  • Memberships can’t be shared between people

  • I can’t offer extensions on memberships

  • Membership payments will be taken via automatic card payment every 28 days

Attending

  • Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the start time of the class. I reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who arrives after the start time but will always try to accommodate you as best I can.

  • Please let me know about any injuries (new or old), niggles, pregnancies, conditions or anything else you feel is relevant and useful for me to know, this information is strictly confidential unless I consider you or another to be at risk.

Essential:

  • Yoga mat (I recommend not a camping mat or towel)

  • Warmer layers for the end of class

Nice to have:

  • A blanket 

  • Clothes you can move easily in and won’t drop over your head when you fold forward

  • Yoga bricks

  • Yoga belt 

  • Cosy socks for the end!

One to Ones

Rescheduling: Up to 24 hours before the appointment please reschedule by using the rescheduling link in your appointment confirmation email.  

Cancellations: If you would like to keep your appointment credit to use another time then you must reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours before the appointment. I can’t offer refunds or a rescheduled appointment for cancellations that have not been rescheduled within 24 hours notice. 

When purchasing 3 yoga sessions, these must be used within 3 months

When purchasing 6 yoga sessions, these must be used within 6 months

I reserve the right to cancel a session at any time. This would usually only be due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, and if you had prepaid, you would receive a full refund or the chance to reschedule.

Events

You may cancel any booking for a retreat or workshop (an ‘Event’) so long as you do so at least 30 days before the start of the Event, in which case we will refund you the amount you have paid for that Event, less an administration fee of £20. If you cancel within 30 days there will be no refund unless we are able to transfer your booking to another participant, in which case we will refund you as explained above, less an administration fee of £20.

GDPR Statement

In order to comply with the General Data Protection Regulations, it is necessary for me to check that you are happy for me to retain your contact details, and that you are happy for me to send you any information I think that may be useful to you, such as, classes, courses or relevant updates about Lissa Milton Yoga & Mindfulness.

I will only hold information when it is necessary to do so, and in order for me to carry out my work, and once you have given me permission to do so.

Covid-19 Safety

Keeping each other safe

I want all students to feel welcome, safe and comfortable in class and am keeping certain guides in place so that everyone feels safe. Please be kind and compassionate to other students when you’re in class and follow the policies below - whilst you may feel comfortable not wearing a mask, others might feel safer if we do. 

  • Masks must be worn until you are on your yoga mat.

  • I will restrict class sizes to allow for social distancing whilst you’re on your mat.

  • If the studio/my business is forced to close due to government restrictions then I will transfer all in person class credit to online classes. I won't be able to offer extensions or refunds in this situation.

  • You will only come if you are feeling healthy and well, and have not been experiencing symptoms related to COVID-19

  • Only come if you do not have someone vulnerable in your household or social bubble (the group of people with whom you have close physical contact)

  • Only come if you do not have someone who is isolating in your household or social bubble

  • Abide by Government guidelines current at the time of the event with regards to public behaviour around COVID-19 (social distancing etc)
