A Deep Rest Ritual
An evening of deep rest for body, mind and nervous system. Wrap yourself in blankets and allow yourself to be completely supported.
A Restorative Yoga, Breath, Sound & Yoga Nidra Experience
Step out of the pace of everyday life…
and into a quieter rhythm.
A Deep Rest Ritual is a monthly 90-minute evening experience designed to guide you gently out of “doing” mode and into a state of deep rest.
This is not a typical yoga class.
It is a carefully held practice — a ritual of slowing down — where each element is woven together to support your body, mind and nervous system in softening and restoring.
You will be guided through a blend of restorative yoga, gentle breathwork, sound, storytelling and Yoga Nidra, allowing the body to release tension and the mind to gradually become still.
Supported by blankets, bolsters and props, the body is invited to fully let go — with nothing to hold, nothing to achieve, and nowhere to get to.
The practice unfolds slowly.
Beginning with time to arrive…
to land in the body…
and to settle the breath.
From here, you are guided into a series of deeply supported restorative postures, accompanied by subtle sound and quiet guidance, before drifting into a state of profound rest through Yoga Nidra.
Many people leave feeling as though they have had several hours of deep, restorative sleep.
A ritual that moves with the seasons
This experience gently evolves throughout the year.
In the autumn and winter months, the space is softly candlelit, creating a warm, cocooning atmosphere that invites you to turn inward and rest deeply.
In spring and summer, we practice in soft natural light, bringing a sense of openness and gentle ease while holding the same quiet, nurturing container.
The atmosphere may shift…
but the intention remains the same:
to offer you a space to slow down, soften, and restore.
Why this practice matters
In a world that asks us to keep moving, keep thinking, and keep doing, the body rarely has the opportunity to truly rest.
Even in stillness, the mind often remains active and the nervous system on alert.
This practice offers something different.
Through stillness, support and guided rest, the body is given permission to shift into its natural state of repair — where the breath deepens, tension begins to release, and the mind can gradually quiet.
This is where true restoration happens.
Sometimes the most powerful practice is not doing more…
but allowing yourself to do less.
