If you’ve completed my Yoga for Beginners - A Six Week Journey course and are wondering what comes next, this course has been created especially for you.
Yoga for Beginners – The Journey Continues… builds on everything you’ve already learned — while inviting you into a softer, more reflective side of yoga.
Where our first journey focused on the energising rhythm of Sun Salutations, this next 6-week course explores practices traditionally associated with slowing down, grounding, and turning inward, all taught in the same accessible, supportive way.
Over 6 weeks, we’ll continue developing your yoga practice by exploring:
• The history and philosophy behind Moon-based yoga practices
• A gentle flowing sequence inspired by lunar energy
• Breaking down each posture and making it accessible for every body
• Seated postures that support mobility, comfort, and grounding
• Breathing practices that calm the nervous system and support everyday life
• Simple mantra and meditation woven into each class
Each session is carefully structured so you feel supported, steady, and comfortable, no matter how your body or energy feels on the day.
This course is about flowing gently rather than pushing, and learning how to move in a way that feels nourishing instead of demanding.
You’ll be guided through:
• Slower, more mindful movement
• Clear options and variations for every posture
• Time to pause, rest, and listen to your body
• Practices that support balance, coordination, and calm
There’s no expectation to move in a certain way — you’ll be encouraged to explore what works best for you.
Alongside movement, we’ll continue to deepen your understanding of yoga beyond the physical practice.
You’ll learn:
• Calming breathing techniques you can use on and off the mat
• How mantra supports focus and intention
• Simple philosophy explained in everyday language
• How yoga can support emotional wellbeing, sleep, and stress
This isn’t about memorising or striving — it’s about feeling the practice and noticing its effects in daily life.
This course is ideal if you:

✔️ Want to continue learning in a gentle, supportive environment
✔️ Enjoy slower, more mindful classes
✔️ Would like to deepen your understanding of yoga philosophy and breath

When: 15th January to 19th February 2026, every Thursday at 7pm
Where: Speke Hall, Dowlish Wake, Ilminster.
Duration: 60 minute sessions, once a week for 6 weeks
Price: £65 for the course
Spaces are limited to keep the classes supportive and personal.
